It's 20 minutes for the one note, then another 20 minutes of absolute silence! I didn't managed to film the grand ending and the followed silence. But it was even more powerful than the beginning. It was a very peaceful moment.
Was the symphony in fact created for you appreciate the silence?? Funny, isn't it?
When you look at the conductor moving his hands to the same sound, you see no difference as if he was conducting to an empty hall, without musicien, without audience.
I don't know much about music. Don't know if his gestures really gave a change to the mood or the intrepretation of the musiciens except the starting and the ending. Don't know if there is really a melody and music that he intrepreted out of the One Note.
I thought it was going to be 5 minutes, because the music sheet of Yves Klein is not made for 20 minutes, so, it must be the conductor's version of intrepretation.
But what JK just said is exactly what I was thinking last night in the concert hall...
Where is the line separating Gentleness and violence? When gentleness becomes too much or last too long, over your limite of patience, but are forced to accept it, since it's gentleness, you have no good reason to refuse "gentleness", then you become agitated and it becomes so violent!

Hahaha... The quality of the sound record is not very good. It was much better in the concert hall.
It was like time freezed there, all you hear it just the repetition of the same "one second".

I can almost imagine the power and peace of the ending... I got 3 minutes here, and it's quite enough of it, I was happy when it was over!
Hahaha... First, i put a video of 48 second here, then I found it not long enough to torture you, so i changed to another 3'30" one!
